For the past few months, we’ve been talking a LOT about Push Notifications, and with good reason! What’s a Push Notification? A Push Notification is a notification, sent from a Mobile App, that appears on your phone screen. It’s a great way to communicate with your customers directly – because who doesn’t have their phone on them at all times these days?
Push Notifications allow you to send timely information, either as an offer or as a message. And there are a multitude of ways you can use this tool to your benefit.
Consider the following:
You have sent out a campaign and redemptions are a little slower than you would like. You have a Friendly Reminder email set to go in a week… but you want action faster. Now, you can send the reminder via Push Notification to remind people to come in and claim their offer.
Monday through Wednesday have been pretty quiet lately, and you would like to mix things up. You have already got a Sales Boost Campaign scheduled, but you would like a little extra boost over the next few days before people start redeeming their postcards. Send out a limited time offer like “Free coffee with a slice of pie– valid Monday thru Wednesday ONLY. Hurry, Grandma’s pies are going fast!”
Your Lost Member list is growing, and you would like to see some of those people move back on to your Active list. Send out a remarkable offer to those Members who haven’t been in to see you in a while and remind them you’re still around and can’t wait to see them!
